Repo Man...

Just watched some poor bastard's Ford Explorer go buh-byes... Flatbed pulled up, shot out a weird wheel grabber thingee, was under the car in about 15 seconds. A little lift, a jiggle, and then some hydraulic noises and the car was moving out of the space. The parking brake was on, so there was some dragging noise as well. Once out at an angle, the bed was lowered and up it went.

One minute later the truck was atop the flatbed, and the repo man drove away. With alternate-side of the street parking here (and the fact the car was all set for tomorrow), I bet the 'owner' won't find out for days. Glad it's not me. :)
