13 degrees; feels like -3. (!!!!)

I hadn't reloaded my weather.com page in about an hour or so... woops. Looks like it's 'shorts' weather after all. Break out the suncreen, blankets, and towels:

See you at the beach!

15 degress; feels like 4.

Okay. I thought it was cold before, but now it's really cold.

If water freezes at 32 degrees (F), what the hell happens at 4? Short of bundling up like a swollen tick, I suspect I will be uncomfortable today no matter what I do.

This morning I will no doubt be dreaming of at least one of two jackets I had thought of buying this year -- but had decided were a little out of my budget...

I think the first one woulda been nice. I wonder if it has a set of matching drawers, and if they have it at CitySports 2 blocks from work... :)

Okay. Just kidding. Just because I have poor impulse control doesn't mean I have poor impulse control. Well, it does - but since I would need to venture outside to get said jacket, safe bet it's not happening. :-)

19 degrees. Feels like 7.

What more can I say. It's c o l d!

And -- some snow is coating the ground... not much, but if there is any precip hanging around - it will be coming down frozen.

Searching for purpose...

Blogs and journals are interesting enough ideas, but I think there has to be an over-arching purpose. I am trying to come up with one (other than the idea of recounting the boring day-to-day events in my life).

Drip... Drip... Drip...

My journal entries have slowed to a trickle. Nothing new to report here.

Well, one new thing: PIE

At a pre-Thanksgiving office meal (where the employees all brought in some food for an in-office party) I brought several pudding pies. Much to my surprise, they were a big hit.

After being hounded (if you call several emails and in-person requests by three people 'hounding'), I gave in and put my illustrated secret recipe online.

May this offerring of basic pudding skills make the world a better place.

*yawn*

Bedtime.
